I am interested in movement independently from theatre. Issues
concerning how you can express emotional
content exclusively through the body, being personal but accessible,
to know the internal procedures, to know how to implement a
structured approach to idea, how to work constructively with other
artists, how to be daring in my work.

Working through Trauma
Processing Trauma (1)
The idea
for my research/project came from an actual difficulty I had during the days of
the Lab. An injury I had in my knee resurfaced and became an obstacle to my
movement. So, I was left to watch the external processes of my fellow artists
and realize the effect they had on me and my internal process.
That’s when
the question- both actual… and philosophical, I guess- arose:
How do I
work through trauma?
That’s what
I came up with:
NEED:
a confined space
a
confined person
*ESCAPE*
There is no order
There is no restriction
There is no ambivalence
There is no expectation
There is no limit
There is no judgment
There is no fear
